Welcome to part four of our blog on technology every business should have. Today we look at the Security system, something we hope is never activated but that you all have in place just in case.

Having a visible security system is in itself a deterrent and can protect you from opportunists looking for an easy target. Given the choice between an unsecured premises and one with overt CCTV the potential criminal will most often choose the unsecured building.

Aside from the loss of equipment and cost of repairing the damage, business break-ins cause distruption to trading, lower staff moral and can lead to critical information falling into the wrong hands. Imagin yourncustomerndata being sold on to one of your competitors and the implications of you no longer having access to it!

A security system can be as simple as a video door entry system or as advanced as a multi site monitoring system with remote view cameras and automatic police calls. Whatever system is right for your business we think that protecting yourself with security is definitely one piece of technology every business should have.
